Challenge
AI is accelerating trading research and creating demand for more compute close to the markets where strategies run. For Nasdaq, that means preparing both its physical infrastructure and financial software for greater scale while preserving the resilience, trusted data, and accountability its clients depend on.
Solution
Nasdaq works with partners including CoreWeave to understand emerging requirements and prepare for infrastructure changes that take years to deliver. It has roughly doubled its data center footprint and is preparing to bring liquid cooling online to support higher-density compute. On the software side, its Nasdaq intelligence layer gives clients a common interface to build agentic workflows on top of existing financial products and trusted data.
Benefits
- More capacity for innovation: An expanded data center footprint and planned liquid cooling support Nasdaq’s effort to accommodate more compute-intensive trading strategies near the exchange.
- A common foundation for agentic workflows: The intelligence layer gives clients an interface to build on existing products, with trusted context central to Nasdaq’s approach.
- Better visibility into workflow value: Clients can feed outcome data back into the platform, helping connect an agentic workflow to the results it produces.
